Well, Hernandez's cycle was in a 19-inning game, and the "19th hole" is usually the last one, so perhaps Heathcote's was in a 19-inning game as well? I see on retrosheet, that the game Heathcote hit his in ended in an 8-8 tie. And now, baseball-almanac has the # of innings in Heathcote's cycle as.......19.

Man, I searched for about 2 hours the other day. Now I found it 5 minutes....sheesh.


Huh, Heathcote's was only 9 days into his pro career. His first game was June 4, 1918. He hit for the cycle on June 13, 1918.
