The Baseball Anthology: By Joseph Wallace. I picked it up in the barging book section of Walden's Books for $10 (cover price of $45). Great picture book covering 125 years of great baseball.

My favorite part is Joe Morgan's take on the great catch of the '75 World Series. Best description ever.

The Baseball Anthology: By Joseph Wallace - - got it as a gift a few years back. Never really tore into it. Thanks for the feedback, I may take a look at it now.

Be sure to look at the picture titled silence (1981). It is all fans worse fear for the 2002 season. The picture it self can make an anxious heart heavy.:beg:

a few others:The GRAND MINOR LEAGUE ;By Dick Dobbins
Lavishly illustrated,well written account of the golden days of the PCL.
And THE NEGRO BASEBALL LEAGUES by Phil Dixon and Patrick J. Hannigan
Hundreds of photos,priceless from a baseball history standpoint,and not too much of the apocraphyl nonsense...Superb
