Who was the last major leaguer to go 220 consecutive plate appearances without a walk? (Intentional walks count as PA's, but not as walks)

Well, he always hit his mark, if that's what you mean, Boom.

Al Benton did that, but I don't know if he was the last.

He definately was not the last.

I'm starting to think I might need a caveat: this is the last position player to go 220 PA's without an unintentional walk. I don't think there's been a NL pitcher that has done this more recently than this guy, but there's a slim chance of it.

As it turns out, I do need the caveat: I'm looking for the last position player to do this.

As a hint, you've not seen nothing like this player before.

The quote I used for the title was his stated batting philosophy.

Rob Picciolo
Andres Thomas
Don Mueller
Ozzie Guillen
Alvaro Espinoza
Ellis Valentine
Alfredo Griffin
Hal Lanier
Doug Flynn
Tim Foli
Mariano Duncan
Alfonso Soriano

This player's M.L. debut was in 1999.

Mark Quinn

Quinn went an 241 consecutive plate appearances without a walk starting on May 9th and ending on August 30th. He did have an IBB on August 12th.

Yep, but no need ruining it for others.
