Tyler Houston is now a baseball writer for the Las Vegas newspaper.

Since I played with him in high school, I decided to e-mail Tyler with a personal question......Haven't received a response yet.

I guess Houston doesn't want to play baseball again. While the accusations may be true I don't think i would put them in print.

My lasting memory of Tyler Houston will be from when he played rookie ball in my hometown. The whole town was extremely excited to have him here...#2 overall pick in the draft playing in podunk Idaho Falls. Well, he treated the community here like we were podunk.

Our memories of him were that he couldn't wait to get out of there as soon as he could, and he was very prima donnaish in his relations with the media and the community.

I wasn't surprised with his flareup with Bowa, and I'm not surprised that he doesn't have a big league job this year.
