...is there a pitching stat for baserunners allowed per 9 ip, corrolated to runs allowed?

Not sure what you mean Pat?
Generally speaking, the higher the BR/9 IP, the more likely the higher the ERA too, I would guess.

Are you looking for WHIP? Or are you looking for something like WHIP*9/ERA, maybe for a measure of how good a pitcher is at pitching out of jams without coughing up too many runs? On reflection a measure for that purpose probably also should include baserunners due to errors and unearned runs. The jams may not always be the pitchers fault but if you want to see how good he is at getting out of them you'd need to include those unearned baserunners.
