Yeah, this is what the host has on that -
A software error affecting the primary ethernet switches causing intermittent connectivity issues for all network segments from 8:10 AM EDT to 12:57 PM EDT at our upstream provider's location.
later, they had this:
The second incident today which began around 2:30P CDT was due to a massive DoS attack against servers in our datacenter. While the attack is still ongoing we have implemented provisions to defend against the attackers. The attack continues to forward thousands of packets per second causing buffer failures and intermittent packet loss. At this time packet loss is 0% and all services and servers are online. We have taken down customer servers who were involved in the attack and they will not be reinstated.

Unknown networking issue, most likely related to the Denial of Service attack from Friday. More info as it becomes available.
