That is seriously impressive. On a related note, I just finished my Christmas list for this year ;)

I am curious about how much something like a stadium would cost. 100s? 1000s?

My guess would be high 100s or low 1000s. A 3100 piece set from Lego goes for $300. Naturally, they're going to be making a tidy profit over that and throwing in some custom stuff (like the scoreboard) and a stand and probably adding glue or something to make it permanent. Add packaging and shipping on top of that.

i wish i had a job sitting down snapping lego blocks together.....beign the father of 2 young boys it saddens me though that things like lego seem to have gone beyond being a toy - the stuff is so expensive now (well, it is here) and everything semes to be designer packs for building everything from the space shuttle to a ballpark. I can remember getting a bag of lego as a kid and spending hours building whatever i wanted.

I can remember getting a bag of lego as a kid and spending hours building whatever i wanted. I think I am lucky in this regard. My mom saved all my legos from when I was a kid. I must have 5000+ pieces stored away.
