Why don't I get notifications any more when a thread I've posted to has updated?

Check your options on your profile - they could have defaulted when we upgraded the software.

I tried it; seemed to be set right. I re-saved the settings; we'll see what happens.

I can't look at a list of my subscribed threads either. I'm locked out of it.

I've never subscribed to threads before, but because of this issue I just went and tried. I'm not allowed to subscribe to any by choosing the option at the top of the thread, to view my (nonexistent) subscribed threads using the menu on the left of my User CP, or anything else related to subscribing - except I can set the automatic subscribe 'option' in my User CP to not subscribe, subscribe no email, subscribe immediate email, etc.

On the old board, one subscribed automatically to a thread by posting to it, or if you didn't want to post you could click a "subscribe" link.

Not sure how it works here with the new system. The automatic subscribe option seems like it should work, but doesn't as far as I can tell.

Not sure how it works here with the new system. The automatic subscribe option seems like it should work, but doesn't as far as I can tell.When I turned it on briefly (the only thing I could get to 'work', i.e. not give me a "you don't have access ..." message) it seemed to take.

It shows me as subscribed to this thread now. It also won't allow me to unsubscribe. I shortly thereafter turned off the auto subscribing immediate email I'd turned on (since I didnt really want it anyway) so I dont know if the reason I didnt get an email when you just posted was because of that, or because the subscription is in some sort of "it shows as subscribed and wont let you unsubscribe but you're really sort of unsubscribed anyway" limbo.

FYI - they recommended a software upgrade at this point. I'll try and get on that soon.
