Anyone know the highest single-season total for pitchers with at least one start for a team?
I'm wondering because the Royals seemed to use WAY too many last year, due mostly to injury. We used 15, if memory serves. How does that stack up with other teams in history?

The 1965 Mets had 16. Not sure if that is the record?

Using the SBE's raw database, I got the leader list--
24: 1915 A's
20: 1884 Unions, 1890 Pirates, 1967 Mets
19: 1919, 1935 A's, 1915 Browns, 1955 Orioles, 1944 Dodgers, 1946 Phillies
18: 1996 Pirates, 1993 Indians, 1946 Yankees, 1936, 1956 A's, 1909 Redsox, 1910, 1939 Browns, 1952 Redsox

Other than the '46 Yanks and the '09 Sox, what were the highest numbers for teams with winning records?
