Is this the 2nd coming of Billy Martin to Bob Lemon?

Could be - but I don't think they're going to win the East. The Pacers are too strong, and the Nets have beat up on some bad teams during this streak.

Billy Beane says it's all luck in the playoffs. ;)Yeah, but that's baseball. NBA playoffs are all about ... uhhh ... well ... staying power.

But that doesn't work in the NBA - there's less luck involved because the sport is so much different.

Dudes, it was a joke...........
Heck, I knew it was a joke. It involved the NBA, so that was self-evident. :p

I'd be more likely to jump on the Nets' bandwagon if not for the fact that they'd only played 1 team from the West during their current streak.
If they go out and win in Minnesota tonight, then beat the Lakers on Sunday, I'll be impressed. Otherwise, I'd still expect the Pacers (and possibly Pistons) to serve as the East's sacrificial lamb in the Finals.

At least they kept it close until late, anyway.

Just when the Nets are beginning to leave a footprint in New Jersey, they might move.
It stinks! It doubly stinks because Brooklyn has a legit claim on a major sports franchise itself, so someone must lose unjustly in all this.
