I do recall reading about the zoning issues in the NY Times while I was in NY on business a few years ago.

Not so sure he's really having a tough time just because he's not in the 8 figure housing market anymore. We should all have it so tough.

It's difficult for me to feel bad for anyone because they can't afford to move into their $12 million home. Knowing the instability of professional athletic careers, Valentin should have made sure of his future income before he decided to build this monstrosity.

I've got no problem with the salaries paid to athletes, but I do have a hard time sympathizing when they run into financial difficulties. They've got every advantage in the world financially, yet somehow they squander it. Let Valentin suffer through his "tough time" in a $5 million home - as hard as that may be, I think he'll manage. :rolleyes:
