All BP & Neyer readers know that postseason experience really means almost NOTHING, and they also try to use some data to prove it. Recently an article from BP writer (can't remember his name) about this topic gave me an idea:
Did it ever happen that one team advance to playoff with none of it's players have playoff exp.?
Reversely, did it ever happen that one team advance to playoff with ALL of it's players have playoff exp.?
(Hope you know what I mean:dizzy: )

99 Yankees had all their regulars previously in the playoffs (bench exception was Clay Bellinger). All pitchers but Irabu, Watson, and Grimsley had been in the postseason before.

In 2000, it was just Choate

I wonder how many of the 1969 Mets had playoff experience?

How about the 1903 Pirates and Redsox? :D

(not to get back into a 'when did the WS start?' thread)
