Ok, so the Chiefs-Colts game is on and it looks like it's going to be a great shootout. And all I can think about is the fact that I have to wait eight more weeks to watch a baseball game! I even miss Ron Santo today! :o

Is anybody else going through this kind of withdrawl?

The Patriots are easing the pain right now... but, just last week one evening as my wife was flipping through station after station of drivel I told her it was so much easier when all she had to do was flip over to NESN to watch the Sox.

Been going through it since November (when I realized the Browns weren't doing anything this year).

I'm anxious, but football usually holds me pretty well until late January. It was better when college games were in full swing, because Saturday wasn't a bad TV-sports day.

With college basketball conference championships and the NCAA tournament coming in March, it leaves February as the only month where I might suffer withdrawal. Regular season NBA and NHL games just won't cut it.

I'm the same way. It's the six weeks between the Super Bowl and the NCAA championships that kill me every year.

Anyone undergoing witdrawal should sign up for ESPN Classic. Last Saturday I watched the 7th game of the '65 World Series, with Sandy Koufax pitching a gem. It was the perfect fix for a baseball Jones.

That's me to a tee. I will go out to Phoenix and catch a few sprint training games in mid-March. That will help a little.

I definitely go through withdraw. I love hockey and like basketball and football but it just isn't the same.
