It's amazing the number of jerseys you see around now. It's equally amazing that people have no idea about the player that they are wearing. They pick it for the colors.

On a HBO report - Inside Sports, I think it's called - they mentioned this - - - some pick the jersey as a statement that they were a fan of the player - - other's solely pick it on colors, looks, etc.
On the bright side, the players get checks every time one of "their" jersey's is sold. Nice perk for some of the older players who did not make much.
Some of these jerseys cost more my suits. Oops, I probably shouldn't have admitted that.

That's why in my book, they really are 'throw back' jerseys...one look at the price tag and..... :D
They also have many sneakers which fall into that category....ah well....
