Who were the first switch-hitters in each league to top 200 hits in a season?

Willie Wilson had 230 hits for the 1980 Royals. I think that is the first time it happened in the Al.

Wilson set the record for most hits by a switch-hitter, but it was done before him. Many decades earlier.

Craig, are you sure?? The only Aler's I can find that have done this are WIlson, Fernandez, Sierra, Baerga, and B. WIlliams. And no player in the UA, PL, AA, or FL accomplished this.

Both the SBE and retrosheet list Weaver as a right-handed batter. Baseball-reference lists him as a switch hitter.
Who is right???

Total Baseball has him batting right in 1912, then both for the rest of his career. Baseball Encyclopedia has him as a righty until 1917, after which he switch-hit.
My source was a trivia guide, so the authority there isn't great.
