Who was the last team to get no homers from their regular starting outfielders (over 100 games each) during a season? What year did it occur?

The 1908 White Sox? I remember they only hit about 3 homers and one was by Ed Walsh...

Not the Sox - Fielder Jones had a homer for them in 1908, one of their three!

My 2nd guess was going to be the 1907 White Sox, but I see they had a grand total of one from their OF that year, also. I see that the 1902 White Sox accomplished this, too. Those early 1900s White Sox outfielders must've been awful!
Besides that, I sure can't find any team with no homers from their OF who all played 100+ games...

You're gotta' go back a few more years. And it's a team other than the Sox.

Let's go with the the 1898 Cleveland Spiders. Jesse Burkett (150 games and 624 AB's), Harry Blake (136 games and 474 AB's), and Jimmy McAleer (106 games and 366 AB's) combined for ZERO HR's in 1898.

Great job, Boomer - it was the 1898 Spiders.

I was so close to the answer--I checked the 1899 Spiders but didn't think to check the year before!
