I don't know whether this is news or entertainment, but it's really cool. I guess it's news, because the guy is being sued by Barbra for "violating her privacy" by photographing her coastal property.

Anyway, the site (http://www.californiacoastline.org) has really detailed photos of the entire California coastline (except Vandenberg AFB), and you can zoom in to wallpaper-sized photos as well, maybe even see Barbra sunbathing if you look closely.

I'm pretty sure this is the organization Gregg Easterbrook (ESPN Page 2, TMQ) wrote about last year. They use a helicopter for their aerial photography. A helicopter is incredibly fuel-inefficient and its use is discouraged by many environmental activists. They address this specific concern on their site, but it remains a sticking point for some.
