You are not a kind person!
Boggs has to be given the offensive edge because of his greater ability to get on base. Hus slugging percentage is a lot lower but his on-base average is a lot higher. Tough choice. Well, Boggs has a higher OWP and runs created per game, and "total bases plus walks/outs" a stat I call "hit index."
Love Mattingly but the methods I use say Boggs.
I don't like you anymore. :)

The OWP was close:
1 Wade Boggs .775
2 Don Mattingly .745
But, Donnie had many more Runs Created:
1 Don Mattingly 150
2 Wade Boggs 133
I went with Don on this one.

17 more runs, 71 more outs.
I don't know that I'd go for that trade-off.

Maybe some of them were productive outs? ;)
