Well, actually, I'm a day early............ :cool:

The debut of WWW was on May 17, 1991. That's when Tim Berners-Lee, the father of the Web, publicly rolled out his Web server and client software.

Said Berners-Lee in his presentation: "You should remember the philosophy that academic information is for all, and it is our duty to make information available."

It's almost a teenager - - where did the time go?

When people complain about military spending you can point to the internet as something good that can come from it. Particularly when the military gets out of the way.

I wonder if the inventors envisioned what WWW would act like as a teenager (pretty much like a REAL teenager).
